Successfully bringing a project as large as the Celtic Circle, with its ten sites, from idea to final working enterprise needs a fair measure of goodwill from various sources. On this page we'd like to introduce you to the people that make this possible.

- Malltraeth Ymlaen -

Crist y Brenin Malltraeth

Established in 2005, Malltraeth Ymlaen is a local community organisation that champions the Malltraeth area of Anglesey. It meets monthly in Bodorgan Community Centre (all meetings are open to the public) and is the 'umbrella' for a number a number of initiatives including lifelong learning (for which it won a prestige BT award in 2006), environmental projects and generally working to promote the area.

Malltraeth Ymlaen is also the umbrella organisation for the Celtic Circle project, and for that we offer our sincere thanks for their help and support.

Malltraeth marshMalltraeth itself is small, attractive, village in the south west of the island. It's world famous for the richness of the bird life of its salt marshes and perhaps best known as 'Tunnicliffe country' being a fourite place of the famous artist. (Who will soon have a dedicated gallery in Oriel Mon, Llangefni.) It also featured in the movie 'Half Light'. The view along Malltraeth marsh from the village is one of the finest on the island.
